Summer is a time for reading books in the shade on the balcony, on a beach by the sear or wherever you find a calming space where you can relax and time feels like it is standing still. During that time, I love reading books that are the same: relaxing, light hearted and making you forget about all the worries in the world around you. Book Lovers is a book that helped me escape to that happy place far away from reality: two sisters going away to a small town in north Carolina for the summer to escape life back home. Nora, the successful, ruthlessly ambitious literary agent, and her pregnant, romantic sister Libby. Nora is the main character of the story. Her sister hopes that this stay away from their home New York would help Nora to transform, become happy and maybe find love in this place far from home from their actual reality. However, Nora keeps bumping into Charlie, an editor she met before in New York… The book is a light romantic comedy, and a perfect read for one of these lazy summer days when you just want to relax and dream away!
