On A Safari in Oslo

Oslo is not a place where you would expect to find African animals, but if you look closely, you can find some – not real ones, of course. But there is a lot of art round town picturing exotic, colourful animals. My favorite is this zebra, that Martin Whatson created in 2015 for Popop Urban Art in Oslo’s harbour.

You can find the “urban Zebra” directly at the harbour on the building on Rådhusbrygge 2. On the other side of the same building there’S another great piece called “All White” from the same artist.

Tip: If you like street art as much as I do, you might want to stroll around Tøyen. There is a lot of unique, colourful streetart to discover! and until 2020 you can combine it with a visit to the Munch museum.
